Our Planning Philosophy

Get a financial plan that prioritizes your priorities.

Together, we'll look at where you are, wherever that is. I'll then give you multiple strategies specifically designed to take you where you want to go. Here's how we'll get it done:

✔   Your plan will help you make the most of what you already have, no matter where you're starting from, and give you a snapshot of your financial big picture.

✔   Whether it's shorter-term goals like managing your debt, or longer-term ones like saving for a new home, or retirement, your financial plan will show you how you're tracking, help you understand what's working, and point out any gaps you might have.

✔   Looking across all your goals, you'll get personalized recommendations and strategies to grow your wealth while making sure everything's protected. And I'll help you determine the right moves to make today and later on. Your financial plan is based on your priorities. As those priorities change throughout your life, we'll shift the financial strategies in your plan, too-so your plan stays flexible, and you stay on track to consistently meet goal after goal.

Let's Put Your Financial Puzzle Together

Most people have worked hard to put a lot of different puzzle pieces of their financial picture in play. What we discover is that many, if not all of these pieces were put together individually or piece meal.

We Make Sure ALL Your Financial Pieces Fit Together

You may have all the pieces but if they don’t fit together your financial vision might not be a completed picture.

What we do best is taking a step back, organizing the puzzle pieces, and helping our clients figure out what the puzzle is supposed to look like when it’s put together correctly.

If any pieces are missing, we’ll find them. If they are shaped wrong, we’ll fix them. If they are in the wrong spot, we’ll move them. Our mission is to bring your financial picture to life.

Strategic Asset Location

  • Even in efficient markets, asset classes can go out of "style" and trade at favorable valuations, which mean we take a tactical approach
  • Tactical portfolio management means the following: Our team may tilt up or down (overweight or underweight) certain asset classes as our research dictates.

Tax Efficient Strategies

  • Tax efficient planning is an important component of financial planning, which means we need to be tax efficient.
  • Tax efficient means developing an asset location strategy which places tax inefficient assets in tax deferred accounts and low tax investments in taxable accounts.
  • Tax loss harvesting allows for tax losses to be locked in for future use while still keeping market exposure for future upside.

Fee-Based Financial Planning

When you want a financial plan built with your goals and interests put above all else, it’s a good time to engage one of our fee-based financial advisors.

We’ll be transparent about what our planning services will, and will not include, so you’ll know exactly what you’re getting upfront. And when it comes to the cost of our services, we’ll let you know upfront about that, too.

Under this fee structure, your advisor will act as a fiduciary, so they have a legal and moral responsibility to place your interests first. They’ll work with you to understand your unique circumstances and provide expert guidance in the creation of your personalized financial plan.

If it makes sense for you, your advisor’s role can go beyond planning to help you find the best insurance products, brokerage, advisory and/or private client platform solutions to put your plan into action.

Making smart decisions about your wealth, whether you want to grow it, protect it or both, starts with a broader perspective and sound thinking. Here’s our unique way of thinking when it comes to helping you make important financial decisions.

Reach your new level of financial confidence

We approach financial planning differently. Not only can we help you grow your money, but also help protect everything you’ve worked so hard for—so your finances can take you further.
